I moved to Chile in 2018 and started discovering cities for the first time - from Buenos Aires to Rio de Janeiro, I became both enamored and overwhelmed with how much there was to see and do.
I put together a few first timer guides to my favorite cities in South America to help you identify what’s most important to check out.

Patagonia is the most beautiful place I’ve ever visited. Even after seeing thousands of photos from social media and fellow bloggers, it was still jaw dropping to see it in person. Since Patagonia is a large region spanning Chile and Argentina, I only scraped the surface by visiting Torres del Paine. But it was still worth every second.
As a first timer to the charming Argentine capital, I was struck by the dichotomy of the city’s perpetual economic woes with its relentless energy and passion for indulgence.
